【Application Procedures for Academic Ethics Course/Degree Thesis】
Application Procedures
- The 'Academic Ethics Education' course is a mandatory 0-credit course, which must be completed online and passed through an examination before one is eligible to apply for the degree examination (in accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for Academic Research Ethics Education Courses at Kainan University).
- The 'Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education' (Student account is the same as the student ID, and the password defaults to the last 5 digits of the student ID: for taking courses and exams) (Website: http://ethics.nctu.edu.tw/)

★ The 'Date of Thesis Proposal Review Application' and the 'Date of Thesis Oral Defense' should have a minimum interval of at least three months 【Please prepare every application forms three weeks prior to the date of oral defense】 1. Proof of Completion of 6 Hours or More of Coursework issued by the Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education. 2. Application Form for Proposed Thesis (or Professional Practice Report) Defense Committee 【PDF】、【ODT】 4. Application form for Thesis Oral Defense (log in: Academic information →Degree of Master/Doctor→ Oral Defense Application→ Fill and Print) 5. Draft of the Thesis (or Professional Practice Report); Comparison Results of the Thesis (or Professional Practice Report) Draft related to plagiarism detection or originality. 6.
